Even Jake said it comes down to what the client wants. Sure Scott wants his clients to establish their values on the open market but it is still the players choice in the end.

Scott works for his clients it is not the other way around.

If you put Shark's name in there instead of Arrieta it reads the same. Theberserkfury is right, why else do you take Boras as your agent?

It is the players choice 100% but you choose Boras for a reason.

I mean, I hope you're right... but same as with Lester saying he doesn't care about an extra $20 mil or whatever, talk is cheap. Neither of them would be the first athletes to say an extra few million doesn't matter and then have their contracts suggest otherwise.
