This current bench is definitely deeper than the one we they had with Korver.

So far McDermott has been shredding up any opposition he's faced at each higher level. Mirotic is more hyped than that. Snell is still a work in progress but hopefully he will develop at the same rate Butler did.

Gibson is about to hit his ceiling in terms of where he was 3 years ago.

Depth chart
Pos. Starter Bench Reserve Inactive
C Joakim Noah Ömer Aşık
PF Carlos Boozer Taj Gibson Brian Scalabrine
SF Luol Deng Kyle Korver Jimmy Butler
SG Richard Hamilton Ronnie Brewer
PG Derrick Rose C. J. Watson John Lucas III
Mike James

The above team's bench was pretty damn good in 2011-12. Asik was a force as a back-up center. Korver was/is the best three point shooter in the NBA and maybe the best of all time. Brewer at that point was probably better than Hamilton and C.J. was damn good backing Rose up.

IF this new bench is anything close to that team's bench, it'll be the best in the NBA for sure.

Bulls have a deeper rotation this year i think. Esp at the guard spots bringing on brooks. Jimmy will have more rest when he doesn't have a superstar he has to D up all game.
