I think people go a little (a lot) overboard with the risk of injury complaints.

Point was more to why not just let wada hit for himself in that situation instead of using another pitcher.. made no sense.
as far as getting hurt... sure wada had as much chance of getting hurt as hendricks would but if hendricks had gotten hurt in that situation, everyone questioning that move.
Why put the kid in there in that situation, when he didn't need to

So they "wasted" Hendricks? He's a starter who isn't going to pitch in the game. He wasn't wasted. If he is a better hitter than Wada, it makes sense.

That was interesting that the Cubs starting staff ranks 6th in the league if you take out Shark and Hammel.

I agree. I don't know why hitting 6th would affect him so much. But when he came up, his approach was good. He didn't swing at everything. He seemed somewhat like a seasoned player. Not so since he dropped.
Hope he gets going again. I really like the kid. But .200 just isn't where he should be.

Wow, Renteria mismanaging another game. Makes a dumb challenge that Alcantara gets hit. Now, he needed that challenge with the play at the plate that he probably would of won. Bad managing.

Baez is getting himself funky. Letting go hittable pitches and trying to swing for the fence when he is down. It kind of reminds me of Castro approach last year that failed miserably. He needs to be himself.
