Really thought Bellamy and lane would make it

those are the two i'm most shocked and bummed about for sure. also, hope williams makes PS, didn't really get to see his speed at all in pre-season.

Hopeful for practice squad

Louis-Jean
C. Williams
Pegues
Lattimore
Trice
Bellamy
Boggs

If Wilson is put on IR designated to return, being back Franklin. Resign Britton after Week 1 and try to get Perry to PS. Pick up OL, DL and TE to fill out PS.

Don't forget C.J. Wilson, he has 4.3 speed and kept making plays, got at least 1 pick this pre-season. I think he is good enough to be a 5th corner in this league, just not with the Bears in 2014.

2 UDFA's made the roster, well done by the scouting department, as well as those guys for making the most of their opportunity.

Just because they had to cut by 3pm to make a 53 doesn't mean that is our final 53. Expect more moves to happen.

And in general, they don't want to cut Perry because he showed a lot of flashes in the preseason and likely wont make it to the Practice Squad. They have ability to use him or Draughn, or any of the extra DEs to potentially find another player. Or they could just cut them if they sign another guy cut to make room.

Plus they'll get an extra roster spot once Marques goes to his designated IR.

As long as Chris Conte is kept as the Bears' last line of defense, all is well with the world.

I like the thinking for now unless you see a sure chance to improve your team, lets play a game and then look at our running back depth. I have always wished to keep 4 RB's anyway....I can't remember too many NFL seasons where teams didn't use the 3rd running back at some point and end up needing to sign one. It just seems like you almost always need another one for depth at some point, why not keep a player like Perry around if you see something, Terrell Davis is out there somewhere, keep giving guys chances that have a chance to be that guy. Looking at his college story Perry could for sure be a find.

There are currently 10 rookies on the #Bears 53-man roster, including all seven 2014 draft picks.

I believe all '13 picks are still on the roster too.

Why did they keep 5 RB's? I don't really understand that at all.

I was wondering the same thing.

I think Senorise Perry could be replaced with another safety before all is said and done.

I'm surprised Hurst made it over C.J. Wilson. Not sure what else Wilson could have done in the preseason. He looked good. Hopefully we can keep him on the PS.

Surprised by the 5 RB's and thought Fales would be PS'ed.

Don't be fooled by Ints. Hurst better in coverage.
