Soler looks to be a good baseruner, too. He read that little blooper was going to drop and went hard. He seems to be a very fundamentally sound player.

Soler is looking like he is more then prepared at the plate for the majors. Very mature for his age.

I may just be paranoid, but it looked to me like he tweaked something coming home... seems like he's ok though.

Hopefully.

Slick grab from A-Ram... Javy could have used a hit.

Just thinking about it now, if soler didn't get hurt I wonder if he would've been up in June or July...

Wonder if original plan was to hopefully be able to trade Schierholtz in July and bring him up..

It is definitely frustrating watching Javy right now... struck out on a pitch at head level...

Damn the kid averaging almost 2 K per game, 51 Ks 29 games
Think about it, it like half his AB every game he not even making contact.. leaves him with 2 AB to do something positive.

Kid needs to sit for a game or two and reevaluate things

Cog and Valbuena have been making cases for regular play next year.

I doubt they lose much with Coghlan as the starting LF next year. He has been pretty damn good as a lead off.

We will see. They have a month to prove if they are major league talent or not.

What it comes down to is if they add a TOR and retain Turner and Felix as the 4/5 that means Wood and Jackson are traded and Wada is not offered a option.

I am assuming by your post that Arrieta/Hendricks are 2/3 in that scenario, correct? Also, Turner was 1st round pick. Does he not have potential to be more than 4/5?

Now, with the very inexperienced team we have right now, i will have a little patience with these guys.

But i am so tired of the poor fundamental play that has us not getting a guy in from 3rd with no outs. I've been watching it forever.

Grounder and a strike out when even a pop up blows deep enough to score the run.

Frustrating!
