Last preseason our starters looked like shit on offense (except vs Raiders) and dominant on defense. Bostic looked like a beast lol.

Maybe we can't take anything out of the preseason with the D.

Bostic had one memorable hit(that would have been legal 10 years ago) but he hardly beasted last preseason. He played the entire preseason and was replaced by a player who missed all of preseason for the season opener.

until week 5 of the regular season, there's no telling really what direction any teams will go. there's so many factors that go into what makes a good team, a great team, and a shitty team. Seahawks could lose like 2 or 3 guys in the first 1/4 of the season and derail everything -- nothing's really set in stone until it's happened.

let's just take preseason for what it is, it gives the teams a chance to cut through a bunch of players that aren't worthy of making the team. that's why I think it's silly that people are proposing making it 2 preseason, 18 regular season games -- so what do you do then? start out with a smaller number of players? where do you draw the line? just leave things alone.

Wrong at the first sentence. If anyone knows how to extinguish their flame in the second half of the season it's the Bears and Cutler's freak injury bug.
