It has been reported that Allen has said he wants to wait until September to make up his mind in regard to which team is most ideal for him.

His main suitors are the Spurs, Clippers, Cavs, Bulls, and Wizards.

Bulls make the most sense

we're in need of a real shooting guard and we have one of his old coaches here in thibs

so expect him to sign with Cleveland

Bingo. What makes sense never seems to happen when it is the Bulls who stand to benefit. I expect him to be a Cav.

CLE waived Shane Edwards today to bring their roster to the max 15. Blatt said they'll go into the season like this. No Ray Allen for now.

Only if we get rid of Dunleavy, opening up the possibility of more Butler at SF.

He's just gonna sign with them after the All Star break or something

To update this, a few days ago the Cavs filled their final roster spot. They supposedly got tired of waiting on Ray and will not be signing him.

I'll believe that when he's not on the roster come playoff time

Wait, how bad are the kids playing that we are looking at bringing in an old as the hills shooter? He going to need a walker to make it up and down the court? This just a stop gap move till the kids get more experience?

Hell with Allen. Trade for Kevin Martin. With Martin, the Bulls would cruise through the east!

Barring one of those obligatory 20 game injuries for Martin

Really? Our other guards/Sfs don't get hurt? Perhaps you should consult the injury reports for the past years.

Allen just provides this team with another perimeter shooter who also brings leadership and more experience to a team that is looking to make a run at an NBA championship. He won't see significant minutes unless there are injuries. Why not bring him in if he is willing to tag along?
