The Chicago Bears held seven players out of Thursday’s practice in advance of Monday’s night road game versus the New York Jets: center Roberto Garza (ankle), left guard Matt Slauson (ankle), cornerback Sherrick McManis (quad), defensive end Trevor Scott (foot), defensive tackle Jeremiah Ratliff (concussion), wide receiver Brandon Marshall (ankle) and defensive end Jared Allen (back).

Edit: Surprised to see Shea listed as limited due to hand injury, didn't know he injured his hand on Sunday.

Wow, I actually missed Jared Allen's name in the list. Was focusing on Marshall, Jeffery and Conte, didn't know Allen hurt his back mmm.

That'll be big if Alshon is back up to speed for Monday. Hopefully they just rest Marshall all week. You know he'll gut it out at a game time no matter what. Morgan also practiced without restriction so our WR corps is getting healthy again.

Another week to heal. He is getting better, probably still not at 100%. It looks like Josh Morgan will be back in the lineup.

This is really good new. Jeffrey apparently is pretty good to go. That is huge. Hopefully Slauson can recover also. They need him.
