It is a shame he is not on the Bears. Would be perfect in Trestman's offense. He is on pace for a huge season. Sucks.

Ask yourself this, would you rather have Willie Young or Devin Hester? They make virtually the same thing.

That would be nice. With how the game is going now, though, they might rest him during the second half if the game continues to be a blowout.

I can definitely see it happening and he is playing really well tonight.

A "huge" season? Didn't have have like 100 yards receiving in the first two games total coming into tonight

WTF Trestman or WTF Hester?

How can you be an offensive Guru and not see the potential for "THAT GUY" we are watching tonight in your system. You don't have a place for that?

Or was it Hesters decision to just be a kick returner and was he just too butt hurt about Lovie to give us full whatever you want coach effort anymore or concerned purely with his pursuit of return record?

Whatever went down, heads should be rolling tonight in Halas, the verdict is out. Hester still has it. So why was the flower wilting here?

Love Hester, one of my favorite players of all time. His returns were always the most exciting thing I've ever witnessed in sports.

Combined with his return yards. That is big. You guys make it seem like he was bad last season. He led the league. Yeah, I know we could not afford him. He is still a huge weapon.

Devin Hester was still a top 5 kick returner and punt returner last season. I wonder if he would have taken $1million if the Bears offered that?
