Chicago Bears vs New York Jets Recent History
The Bears last played the Jets in 2010 when both teams were playoff teams. The game was Week 16 and a shoot out as neither side had much of a defense. The Bears jumped to a 10-0 lead scoring a touchdown off a Santonio Holmes fumble. The Jets then drove and scored a TD and then Cutler threw a pick 6 to give the Jets the lead. They additionally scored again in the 2nd to suddenly make this is 21-10 game. Cutler would dive into the endzone on the far right side just before the 2 minute mark to make it 21-17.

In the 3rd quarter, Cutler would unleash the dragon and fire three deep touchdown passes as the Bears would take a 31-24 lead before the defense allowed it to be tied and then giving the Bears the lead for good at 38-31. The Jets would score a FG and drive at the end of the game before Mark Sanchez threw a pick to Chris Harris to end the game. The Bears would walk out 11-4 on their way to a first round bye in the playoffs.

Before the season started Kromer said he targeted a 68 completion % for cutler, he's right on it.

Let's weather this road storm and gain some momentum for our showdown with Greenbay.

We won't be able to run whatsoever so it's up to the short passing game with the occasional shot deep. Maybe forte can work in the passing game without Patrick Willis keying on him.

Bears 24
Jets 21

Go Bears!

Must win game this week, I'll take the Bears 31-24.

Bold prediction: Briggs gets a sack and an interception. Geno has 2 rushing TD's.

We are an elite pass protecting team.

That means that Cutler will have time against the Jets secondary.

If Cutler gets time watch out.

I think we win. I hope we blow them out, but feel like it might be closer than we like.

Bears 28
Jets 16

I think the Bears get a lucky break on field position early, capitalize and go up by 2 scores. By the second half the Jets try to throw more often and it goes down hill from there. If they run on us the entire game, they have a chance. If Geno has to carry the team, they're doomed.

Forte has less than 80yds on the ground but goes over 100 yds combined with receiving.

Score predictions are mostly bullshit, but I'm curious about Mick's call:

19pts. There are only a handful of realistic ways you can score 19 pts (only pre-madonnas know WTF a prime number is). Are you predicting a safety or a botched PAT?

I don't like score predictions. My prediction: Defense will have points on the board.

34-21 Bears. Solid game from offense . Jets pull within 13 late but Bears create turnover (Fuller INT) to seal the deal.

Additional prediction- Houston has a big game 2 sacks a couple big run stuffs

Gotta pick a QB from this a game for a single game fantasy matchup, would you go with Cutler who gets 1x fantasy points or Geno who gets x2?
