And you probably should be. You have a banged up o-line that wasn't very good to begin with, though I will admit I was impressed with how they held up the other night. The Jets have one of the best front 7's in the NFL and are especially good across the d-line with PFF's #1 run stuffer Damon Harrison, DROY Sheldon Richardson, and all-pro Muhammad Wilkerson. The weak part of the Jets D is the secondary where we got torched last week, though Milliner should be back to full health this week. If Cutler can get the ball out of his hands, you guys should score some points. The problem with that is he does hold the ball a bit and as an offense, the Bears do go downfield a ton. Marshall and Jeffrey scare the shit outta me right now. You won't be able to run. Nobody does. Nothing against Forte as he's a top 5 back, but he's a little knicked up himself and the Jets run defense has given up by far the lowest YPC in the league over the last 18 games.
On the offensive side, I'd be surprised if the Bears didn't force a TO or two. Geno has shown marked improvement, but he's still prone to a mistake here and there. He's a young QB, what can you do? Hopefully Decker plays, he'll be able to do some things. Kerley will probably be more of a factor though in the slot. The Jets should be able to run the ball with Ivory, but Johnson will struggle as a ball carrier. Geno will use his legs a bit.
Right now, I'd say it'll be a close one that can go either way, but as a Jets fan, i have to go 24-21 Jets. Hope that was a fair and objective summation.
