1) He's the least of the problems to address on the team
2) $2 million isn't bad
3) He's been great offensively outside of May and June
4) His defense isn't a plus but it isn;t a minus either

Let's draft a catcher and give him a few years to develop. Until then we can live with him I feel. (I know I waffle)

I did read it. Flowers sucks & that is it.

Sorry, I don't want this bum as the starting catcher if they wanna be serious about the playoffs.

Easiest path to make a high school, college, or professional team? IF you have a decent size kid who can hit a bit, make him into a catcher.

I think that getting better at catcher will be tougher than it seems. Catchers that hit are pretty rare these days. I agree about trying to find a good prospect and I think that another year of Nieto playing winter ball will help him. He does hit and is young. The real need is a left hand hitting middle of the order hitter and four good pitchers. That is going to really be difficult.

the sox would have to increase a slash line in another spot and i dont see that happening

Better chance elsewhere than at catcher. Catcher right now is extra weak sauce in MLB

That FA class is awful.

Hopefully Hahn explores the trade route like he did with Eaton & Avi.
