With the Tillman injury we were all amazed with Kyle Fuller's ability to step in and play like an All-Pro with seven tackles and two amazing interceptions. With Ratliff going down with a concussion and out for Monday night,is it Will Sutton's time to have a break out game like Fuller and come up with some big plays?

Allen,Ferguson,Sutton and Young?

Or

Allen,Ferguson,Houston and Young?

What do you guys think...?

Sorry, but your question got me thinking and I am going to take it a little off topic, as I would hate to create a soon to be missing thread.
As for Will Sutton, I think he and Ego will get added playing time and at least hold their own. But, with a rash of early season injuries, it has been impressive to see the depth that Emery has methodically added. The #3 WR goes down, and the add S Holmes. 40% of the starting O-line goes out and Ola comes in and plays adequately at worst, DLP looks to be an upgrade. Tillman goes down and Fuller fills in, spurring the Bears to victory. Conte goes down and McCray and Vareen do the job of being not noticed. The lack of serviceable starters, let alone backups of 2 years ago, is a pleasantly fading memory.

I have to imagine we see more Ego than Sutton. The Jets will want to run the ball.

To be honest id like to see both on the field,I have seen enough of paea

Paea is probably still better vs the run than Sutton. I think if we get up on the Jets, forcing them to pass, we will see more Sutton than Paea.

I don't know if you have seen enough of paea. if you've been seeing him, you'd see he's been doing very well...

Paea's body of work as a Chicago Bear has been very underwhelming IMO

He had a pretty good game against SF

Given that I was about to throw my remote through the my projection screen at several points of that first half, and our entire defense stepped it up in the second half, I am willing to be a little more patient.

Okay, but I only care about the last two games and the next 14 games. :)

So Stephen Paea plays the nose tackle position the least glorified position in the NFL. Vince Wilfork has been the greatest NT over the last decade. Now name me the other nose tackle in the NFL you would play ahead of Paea right now who has been so much better than Paea.

Oh stop it. You know that logic only works when it favors Biff's agenda.

So you wanna play this game? One is a run stuffing defensive tackle who is typically taken out on passing downs the other is supposed to be a pass rush specialist. One has 7.5 career sacks, the other has 7 career sacks. So who has been underwhelming?
