I'm 59, Dad is 90, so that is 149 total years of no Cubs winning the world championships. I'm just interested in how long other families have gone.

I'm the only Cubs fan in the family, so, 21 years. Old man is a Cards fan, grandfather a BoSox fan, Mom... not sure really she used to like the Mets.

My favorite teams
My dad got into the Cubs in 1969 at the age of 17.
He told me after the collapse of '69 he thought to himself something along the lines of: "this sucks, but they'll win one at some point".
He is now 62 and still waiting.
