Yeah, it's good people are seeing warts but he was also stellar last year against the Cardinals. He's routinely solid in era too. If the Cubs don't overpay for him, I won't mind if they get something comparable for less. It's not like he's Pedro or Randy Johnson.

Lester has a better post season ERA then Maddux, but crazy note. I just looked up Maddux post season cause I know he had some trouble a couple of years. the guy threw ov er 198 innings in the post season for his career. lol Thats pretty insane that he pitched that many post season innnings in his career.

Maybe the Cubs can sign Lester + Shields. I wonder how much Shields will get. He's gonna be 33 next season

Lester had a 2.11 ERA in the post season prior to this game. He gives up 3 this game and people dont want him? lol

Yup he turned it around. Wonder if he would have settled had his offense not helped him out though.

All eyes were on Lester, and he knew that since he will sign for big money in the offseason. He pitched like shit to be honest.
