Scrub. Choke artist. Don't need him in the mix of our pennant race next year.

Yeah, it's good people are seeing warts but he was also stellar last year against the Cardinals. He's routinely solid in era too. If the Cubs don't overpay for him, I won't mind if they get something comparable for less. It's not like he's Pedro or Randy Johnson.

What pitcher has been perfect in every postseason appearance? Anyways a Royals win would save some innings on Lester's arm

Tough situation for any pitcher to have to win a 1 game playoff series...
These games are for the Maddux, Glavin, Randy Johnson type pitchers to come in and shut a team down in a pressure situation

Lester has a better post season ERA then Maddux, but crazy note. I just looked up Maddux post season cause I know he had some trouble a couple of years. the guy threw ov er 198 innings in the post season for his career. lol Thats pretty insane that he pitched that many post season innnings in his career.

Maybe the Cubs can sign Lester + Shields. I wonder how much Shields will get. He's gonna be 33 next season

4 runs in 7 1/3 innings.. to a team without a great offense.. I guess I'm crazy for not being impressed with that.

Let's sign the guy for 10 years/$250 mil. Sounds like a hell of a deal.

I've often wondered if there was a more inept MLB playoff team than the Cubs. There is: Oakland.

Never would have thought I'd say.... But would the A's already have won if Geovanny Soto played the whole game?

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Toledo Rockets
I guess 2007, and 2013 don't count anymore?
