Which suggests Noah should have a higher FG%, but he doesn't.

Maybe. He certainly is not as good a scorer as Bosh. Never said he was. He's improved some but it sure isn't pretty to watch.

I never said "best scoring option".

?????

Not trying to be a prick. Everyone makes mistakes. I sure do..

Bravo comparing the top scoring option on a bad offensive team to the third scoring option on one of the best offenses in the NBA.

Again, where do I say "best scoring option"?

I'm not so sure

http://www.slamonline.com/nba/slamonline-top-50/

SLAM has Noah in their top 14.

NBA2k15 has him rated as an 87 (I think). Seems like it is more than just Bulls' fans who overrate Noah.

What am I missing? Does top scoring option mean something different than best scoring option in everyday vernacular?

Yes. "Best scoring option" is the team's best scorer. Top scoring option is a guy you choose to run your offense through.

Okay. IF that's the way that you define them, fine. I define them as pretty much the same thing.

Seems low to me, for a guy that was voted in by a panel of sportswriters and broadcasters(*cough ESPN*) to the All-NBA First team(which is what they consider to be the 5 best players in the NBA, not the best at each position).

But then again they did lower ranks on guys who were hurt in the off-season. Noah being one who was playing hurt during the season and playoffs.

That's a pretty naive view of it IMO seeing as each year it (2) G, (2)F, and (1)C. For example, last season Noah was not better than Love, Blake, Paul George, Curry, Larmarcus Aldridge etc All these guys made All NBA teams behind him.

Even on ESPN's list there's no way if I'm starting a team I take Noah over Cousins.

#10-6: (10) Dwight Howard; (9) James Harden; (8) Kevin Durant; (7) Kevin Love; (6) Stephen Curry

So not only does ESPN think Love & Curry are better than the reigning MVP, they think KD isn't even the BEST PLAYER ON HIS OWN TEAM!

All that is left are Russell Westbrook, Blake Griffin, Anthony Davis, Chris Paul, and LeBron James. 1 & 2 are set with LeBron and CP3, in that order. My gut tells me the rest will be Westbrook, Griffin, then Davis.

At the same age, you'd be very wrong unless you totally dismiss leadership and all around worth to a team. Cousins is not close in those two categories.
