damn Matthews is a FA looking to get his first big payday

Achilles is probably worse than an ACL

Yeah, you hate to see that for him going into FA'cy. I could see him signing a 1 year deal next year, and trying to cash in on the TV money the following year.

If you stopped trying to sound so smart for a minute, and really think about what you just said, you realize just how stupid it was. :smh: I've never said any one injury was the fault of Thib's, just that the same result EVERY season becomes suspect. Besides, do you really think the coach has to run out on the floor and tackle the player to injure him? Just ridiculous, man, as usual for you. :smh:

First of all, I am not trying to sound smart. I am smart. If you were smart, you'd realize how ridiculous you are with this Thibs caused all of the Bulls injuries nonsense. There were a couple of great posts made during this discussion which outlined why most injuries occur during an athletic contest. You chose to try and insult my supposed lack of athletic experience. It was lame and you got called on it. Take your medicine like a man and quit whining.

So in the upcoming draft the Point Gaurd situation is:
D'Angelo Russell
Tyler Eulis

at the top in the Lottery.

Then someone like Marcus Page would be available if we get the Sacramento pick.

The Jazz are going to be so good. There oldest starter is 24 and they have another lottery pick.

Whoever they land in this draft if everyone and their mom comes out. They're not making the playoffs again until year two.

Gobert is gonna be a monster. Favors has looked good for them as well. Hayward is pretty good. Burke is solid (except he can't shoot) and Exum will be a player in a couple years. They have a lot of good pieces...if they weren't in the West they'd probably be conference finals material based on talent in like 3-4 years.

The Jazz still have a lot of holes and no reason to believe players will stick around. I bet they're still kicking themselves for passing on Hornacek for Snyder.

The Sixers and Wolves also can become very scary teams in the next few seasons.

True. If all those players bolt (and I can see that happening easily), the Jazz are screwed once again. But yeah, these teams with this young talent could potentially be pretty dang good in a couple years if they play their cards right.

Actually, can you imagine Thibs going to Utah. Damn, that's a scary thought.

Gobert would be a monster. Exum would turn into a lockdown defender for PG through SF. Burke would learn to shoot above 40%. It'd be crazy.

I was for the Jrue Joliday and Noel trade. Now, not so much. The Pels are better without Holiday and Davis and Noel would be monsters together.

lol Jrue Joliday...

Noel and Davis would be crazy together though...so many blocks it wouldn't even be funny.

i actually didn't like that trade from the start

i understood why they did it i mean Jrue was a proven all-star and Noel was coming off an ACL injury

but i liked the potential of AD/Noel too much...i would have stuck with Noel

Wade + Dragic looks like the NBA's best backcourt behind Curry + Thompson right now.
