I didn't catch the game but the stat line doesn't even look that bad. 9 K's 4 hits and 2 walks in 6 innings with 3 earned. Call me crazy but i'll take a pitcher who's got a 13.5 k/9 and a 2.99 bb/9 with a 1 whip. Looking deeper it appears he has a career 9.8 k/9 3.2 bb/9 and 5.20 ERA. Walks are up substantially over his career marks but over 45 IP this seems like a case of poor luck.
