Great idea for a thread! I'm excited about the renovation myself. We all know Wrigley is a piece of crap, but I also believe that people are going to be surprised when this is all done. It's also the 1st phase of good things to come imo. It very well could end up being one of the most exciting off season in history for the Cubs. A successful renovation coupled with a couple pitchers and other FA's, and we're on the way to some great seasons in Wrigley!

Wondering if they noticed any strange smoke rising from under the bleachers as they tore it down.. releasing the curse that been trapped under there

Weird question but does Anyone know if they plan on doing anything to make crashing into the bricks safer, if there is such way to do so.. maybe use pads that looks like bricks ;)

Just read that the project is delayed six to ten weeks. Sad for the fans

Hear opening May 11. City sewers caused delay and the concrete needs that much time to set.

That's only left field. Right field maybe by the end of May

Solution would be to tent and warm the concrete for proper curing but team is saving the cash instead

Idiots idiots idiots...I say this as a former building supplier.

There is always a long lead time for large steel orders. The general contractor should have blown off the city, which has to approve material orders due to landmark status. They would have been fined, but so what...TR would have covered it and bleachers would have been open on time.

Idiots.

Most likely

Cub fans in general do not care
And
If they're has to be a delay, do it when attendance is low anyway
