Everyone knows you gotta hit Brady but would you like to see a huge hit on him on the first offensive play even if its 15 yards??? I say yes set a tone as long as they can keep it

Of course, Ditka is going to be Ditka and the tanning spa turned his face and his brain orange.

Anyone with a modicum of football sensibilities did and SHOULD pick the Patriots.

They are 5-2. The Bears are 3-4.

The Pats have looked much better than the Bears.

The Pats have Tom Brady and Gronk and will destroy the middle of the field which the Bears have proven they are very vulnerable at.

The Bears have not figured out a balanced offensive attack.

Most importantly, since Brady came back from his injury in 2009, the Pats are 40-3. 40-3. They just don't lose at home.

And won't this week against a team they are better than.

Easy.

Yes, and on the second play, Brady will throw one of his many completed passes over the middle to Gronk.

Homerism is very real in Bear fan land.

Fellas, I love my bears But I just don't think they are a good team.

They're a talented team, just not playing like it. Or at least not consistently

are you suggesting i should stop caring about Bears football?

because thats on the Bears

No, I'm suggesting you don't let it ruin your day. I love watching Bears games regardless of the opponent or what the perception of the Bears is.

The Bears absolutely have the talent to beat the Patriots.

The problem is they are not playing well and after 7 games it is not a blip on the radar it is who they are.

And Tom Brady is light years better than Cutler and this is a QB driven league.

Btw they just said the reason the locker room got crazy last week is when Brandon started yelling, they say Jay rolled his eyes and said "here we go", which if you see their usual interactions is pretty funny and par for the course.

Hey look I'm not trying to bust your balls too hard. You seem like a guy who's pretty level headed and not running around calling for Trestman's head and whatnot.

That said I was as pumped for this season as I've been for any season in a long time. It hasn't gone the way I thought it would by any means. That said I still can't wait to watch Bears games every week and I still have no doubts that Emery is the right GM for this organization. I also still think Trestman can be a good head coach but I'm not sure if Cutler fits his scheme and it seems like Trestman may not be able to fully rid Cutler of what ails him.

Something I find interesting is that Cutler's QB rating this year is easily the highest of his career to this point. The good Jay has been so much better than previous good jay's. However, the bad Jay's this year have come at the most inopportune times.

I saw way too much success from Trestman's system last year to believe that in one off-season the entire league has him figured out and his offensive system is now poor. We'll see what happens the rest of the year obviously but either way BEAR DOWN!
