I would be fine with benching DJ as well. I don't know who is saying to bench Briggs, but to trade him I would agree with that for sure. Shea you kinda have to let him play out the year, he is still young and they need to see 100% whether he can be a LB or not. I say no, but at least he is still young so there is a chance for improvement.

I agree with letting Shea keep playing. The kid hasn't had a chance to play enough consecutive games so he can really get a feel to play this new position.

At this point I'd trade Briggs for a half eaten bag of M&Ms

If Briggs would roundhouse kick Tucker out of the franchise I'd be willing to let him eat all the eats that he wants

I have to say, love Briggs but a 4th would be a decent trade for NFL standards. I would love to condition it up to a three if possible but I would have move him for a 64. He would be able to step right in and play for them.

Lol a 4th? He is unhealthy past his prime and the slowest he has been in his entire career... If the Cowboys make that trade then they are clueless...

It would have to be a 6th or 7th and that's about it...

At this point guys who do not factor into the Bears long terms plans should be put on the bench and given some time off.

The fact that Briggs is not very good, only makes it easier.

Seriously, Briggs has as much trade value as DJ Williams, and that is ZERO!!! Wake the fuck up.

I'm 100% in on this but it's not happening. Why would they want anyone from our defense?

Because they already know the Dallas defense better than they know whatever the hell Tucker is trying to do.

Id take a slab of ribs and call it a fair trade.

Exactly, no one is going to give up anything of value for an aged veteran at the end of the line who will only play for his new team for half a season.

Moot point anyway, as the deadline has already passed.
