Lots of Shots, Hardly any Goals

I guess this question is to anyone who follows all the Hawks games closely. Can you tell why the Hawks aren't scoring despite putting up a shit ton of shots? Bad luck, bad shots? I'm surprised that this team is struggling this much to put the puck in the net.

Because their shots are shitty. They have some insane idea about not playing hockey and just putting every chance on net...

criticize anyone who doesn't put it on net...

we have become predictable.

For the most part? Shitty luck.

I really don't see this as anything other than a string of tough luck that's due for a fierce progression to the mean in the near future, meaning the Hawks are going to blow some teams away soon.

I've said this so much that I'm tired of bringing it up. A whole lot of it is their propensity to shoot the puck low where nearly every goalie is at his best. Eddie has also been taking notice of it as well making several references to "elevating the puck".
