QBR is a statistic created by ESPN. I assume this is passer rating?

Dunno how the defense doesn't get the brunt of the blame for this. Unless you have a Rodgers, Brady, or Manning it's just not feasible for the offense to keep up with the torrid pace of scoring and TOP the D allows. I saw a chart yesterday and at least in fantasy (which admittedly isn't the best example but I digress) the Bears were something like 30th in the league.

And with a year of tape on Trestman's approach I expected a drop off in production because in all honesty besides a few really well designed plays that have been called his offense seems to lack creativity. I don't see how Tucker has lasted this long but the Bears always seem to be slow to make changes.

Cutler has been far from lights out but his numbers are better than ever, the turnovers are a huge problem still which hopefully he will figure out when it's best to just abandon ship and throw the ball away. Offensive line also has been underwhelming. It's just not a very good team right now, poorly coached on almost every level but I'm still hopeful they can get rolling and sneak into the playoffs, but we shall see.

The Bears put twice as much money into their offense as they did their defense. That offense ranks 20th in scoring. How then does the defense deserve the brunt of the blame?

Thats like blaming the defense for the Super bowl loss because they let up too much points.

He's a nine year veteran- when is he going to figure it out?

I agree that the defense is the biggest problem. The issue is that we expected the offense to carry us since it seems to be be on paper to be incredible. Unfortunately our offense is really scoring around 20 points or less this does not include turnovers caused by the defense. That's pretty bad when we should easily score close to 30 or more.

Honestly, what were some of you expecting stat wise from Cutler?

I like to see him have a low teens turnover. Right now it looks like that's what we getting but if you look at the last several games it's very very bad.

Personally 35td and 12-15 INTs would be incredible along with a damn victory over the Packers. He needs this for the mental side of his game.

Bah- you are correct- Blake Bortles- a rookie- now has one more than Cutler after last weeks games. Jay was leading the pack for a few weeks.

Andrew Luck has 11 TOS, Cutler has 12. I'm not saying that Cutler is playing "elite", but he is playing better.
