"Dead Heat?" People use that description far too often. Every poll I've seen shows Rahm in front though within the margin of error. That doesn't mean it's a "dead heat."

I spent a lot of years working in and around politics and started studying Chicago politics as a teenager. Yes, a 42%-38% lead is within the 3.2% margin of error but the 18% of undecided voters puts the election in serious doubt. If I were working for Chuy Garcia right now I'd be very encouraged and looking for anything I could exploit and if I were on the mayor's team I would be very, very concerned. My point was that the mayor is unlikely to purposely risk pissing off any constituency right now including the residents around Wrigley who may not want work crews in their neighborhood until 10:00 PM.

Surprised the knuckleheaded rooftop owners didn't ask to have the old manual one torn down.

Meanwhile, regarding the RF sign that they are whining about - I suggest the Cubs make the back of that sign a TV screen so the rooftop owners' claims of being blocked from seeing the game are no longer true. Bye bye lawsuit. :)
