If he does, he does. No need to obsess over Rose. As long as he's 100% in the playoffs, and every decision made to limit himself pays off in the long run, IDGAF.

Nothing. And like you said, nobody is 100%. So the same applies to any player. I'm just sick of Rose's rehabilitation and cautious usage being click-bait topics. This team has a lot going for it, sans-Rose. A lot, good and bad, and it gets overshadowed by a year old obsession rotting away at the fans. If you let it become a Cutler topic, it will. But please don't spread that cancer my way. I still want to enjoy the Bulls, enjoy basketball, and get entertainment value. The sadistic fan approach doesn't work for me, and if I'm a homer for that, oh well. Oh, BTW, not saying you are Ziggy, I have no beef with you, just putting that out as a general view of the fan-base getting swayed by nagging haters who want to rub it in at any opportunity partly due to him winning the MVP to amplify all of this.

Rose will play this one.

1 thing about Derrick-he has a drive, and strong desire to dominate other guards in the league. If DeMar plays, Rose will...and Rose will come right at him. Even if DeMar is a 2 guard.

I think Rose would have played the Boston game had Rondo played.

Toronto is a legit team, and everyone sleeps on them. Lowry went from scrub to stud last season. DeRozan is mad skills, but he hasn't hit that switch to become a consistent serious player the same way Lowry has. That could be a scary thing if he does take it to the next level.


If we want to win this game on their court, we have to control the ball. Another big turnover game will negate our efficiency elsewhere. If we start forcing the ball inside early, and not get to the line, not make point-blank baskets early on, this will be another game that has to be won in the 4th quarter for us, it's that simple. If we don't contest shots early, they'll have every bit of confidence. You better believe Toronto has had this game circled on the calendar for a week.

With all the stuff about Lowry lately, Rose will probably want to put him in his place. Or so I'd like to think.

And I guess there's Derozan too...Rose might want to outplay his Team USA teammate for the lulz.

Either way, I do see motivation for Rose to want to play. Given that he was fine against Detroit, I expect him to come out guns blazing.
