My guess is the Bulls are just being overtly cautious (or Rose is?) Who knows.
Either way, I know they want him to be healthy, but I'm beginning to question if he ever will be again? I mean in 2011-12 he had recurring injury after recurring injury and its still looking like that.

Some guys are just brittle and that happens to be Rose. The worst part is that the ankle injuries are putting unnecessary stress on his knee ligaments which is not good. Bulls really should not resign him when the time comes because it's only going to get worse when as he ages.

Rose getting hurt has hurt the celebration
the good: Gasol was fantastic, Jimmy had a good game, 3rd qtr defense was the best d they played all season
the bad: bench was horribad (the rookies looked totally lost), almost blew a big lead once again

Rose is going to get hurt at least 100 more times in his career. IDK why we need to go crazy every time. Let the journalists that write trash so they can feed their stepchildren do that. When he has a serious injury, then we can go crazy. Right now, these are all expected, and since the Bulls are hyper-conservative with him, mountains are going to be made out of mole-hills.

Injuries could just stem from the fact that he sat out 2 seasons; his body could still just be adjusting.

True...it's an adjustment going from practice to the real deal. And he's had basically 2 years of no games, so it would make sense for his body to be a little beat up to start, especially with the way he plays.

I really don't remember a guy who is just entering his prime have as many games missed like Rose has had. He must have swizzle sticks for ankles. I also question the worthiness of his shoes. It appeared that he doesn't get decent traction from them. On that play, his shoe slipped on the floor and it shouldn't be that way.
