When Mirotic is in the right role, he really does well. When Brooks brings his a-game, we don't miss a beat. It's nice to have depth. McDougie is doing a lot to correct his positioning, once he has some confidence, he'll be less of a question mark and more of a threat.

Dear Lord, Jimmy is a stud. Cold shooting early, but making it happen on the defensive end, and heating up late.

Dang that second half was an entirely different Bulls team. They frustrated the heck out of the Clippers. CP3 got his flops in, but props to Kirk for keeping his cool after that one tech. Butler was a beast. Mirotic looked really good. Jo had a good game as well. Depth showed tonight. Good win.

So I watched the Bulls game streaming on the Clippers tv station. Very interesting perspective of this team when hearing the opposing announcers heap praise on them.
The Clips play by play guys were all over Butler calling him a man among boys out there. And saying that this team will be there in the end this year. Then also adding that if Gasol and Rose are healthy, that we are a great team, and if they aren't healthy we are still a very good team.
If Thibs manages to keep these guys rested and healthy, I think we can take out the Spurs this year.

He has as many dimes as CP3

He had a bad shooting night but considering he missed a lot at the rim with DJ there and Griffin guarding the rim. Still a good game for him. You can tell he was tired because the fact that none of the other players we had could guard Crawford or Paul.

My hope is that This is playing to lock things up early, and start resting guys with a week or two left in the playoffs. It is nice to see him give Pau a rest. Also, with the next one not until Thursday, we should be fresh for that one.

The offense struggled to space the defense early in the first half... But it was nice to see the guys stay aggressive, even through shooting lulls, and make the adjustment. Also nice to see them step on the necks of the Clippers, and not let off

Best game of the year this season. Everyone stepped up. Gibson, Butler, Hinrich, Noah, Mirotic, Dunleavy, Brooks, McDermott. All of them played well.

Great ball movement and great defense. They were tough on CP(Hinrich and Butler) and BG(Gibson and Noah). This game was a clinic in good basketball. Mirotic showed some glimpses of his great upside. His basketball IQ was exhibited very well in this game, passing, driving, and shooting as well as playing hard on defense.

Well Kirk did a decent job with Paul imo...it was the fouls that did him in. He had at least 2 fouls called that were pretty questionable (CP3 push off, loose ball foul on Griffin) which I'm sure limited how aggressive he could be defensively. Crawford was just smoking everyone though. That high pick and roll pull up jumper from 16 was money every time.

James Harden had a bad shooting night (1 of 8). Butler's true clip was 6-16 (37.5%), because that 17th shot was a hail Mary on a roll out, that he recovered late in the shoot clock.

None the less, Jimmy still had 22 points on technically 17 (but legitimately 16). While his fg% was less than ideal, he WAS the creator for the Bulls with 8 dimes.

Also by a BBall standard, 1.3 points per shot is efficient.

Jimmy showed a lot tonight. Even with his shot off, he found other ways to get points on the board, and dominate the game (+26).

That is prime time...that is what you would expect to see a star player do.

Jimmy is becoming a star.

I remember when we drafted Butler and 90% of fans were like... "we drafted who?"
