Wow he was kept on the ballot even after he got injured? NBA.com be trolling.
The ballot use to come out within the first two weeks of the season starting. They are delaying it this year.

I can see him being an Allstar considering he's playing in a large market and is in the eastern conference, but he'll probably be a coaches choice since it's still a popularity contest for the most part

Anyways, he probably has a decent chance to get in based on who he is. However, I still think Irving will win over him by a somewhat close margin..unless Rose stops getting injured.

I do too. But that will require him to stop getting hurt then missing a week after getting hurt in his 2nd game back from his previous injury.

When is the last time we have had a reliable SG? As the games fly by, I gain more trust in his ability. And he can get to the FT line!

Butler will be greater than Ben Gordon. Gordon was above average but he did shine when it mattered. Butler doesn't appear to be a choke artist either. Butler would own Gordon

Butler's defense alone probably puts him ahead of Gordon. Gordon could light it up, but Butler's basically the defensive equivalent there.

All the Ben Gordon stans that like Butler are going to dislike Butler, as soon as they read the end of this thread.

Gordon hit too many clutch playoff shots for us to just chuck him under the bus. Gordon was a great Bull who came up clutch and represented this city well!! Loved watching him play, unfortunate the way things went down.

On a completely seperate page, Butler has turned into something many of us have been predicting but still crossed fingers and hoping for. I can't wait to see him mesh with Rose, together they now have the potential to penetrate, draw fouls, shoot outside, dish, sneak in for alley oops, both of them rebound well for their position,

and if we didn't just mess up the bank by trying to wait for the bullet and we can retain them both man....I love this back court.

This is the type of back court you dream of. A 6'7" defensive specialist who can slash or stretch paired with an offensive PG MVP talent who won with almost exclusively offense!! That said, they still have room to grow....in chemistry, Butlers 3 pointer, and Rose's improving defense and 3 pointer.

This Bulls team is redundant at SF but has everything else you look for in a title contender. We are now a top scoring team, and its up to Thibs to make the defense work with Gasol out there. I think as Noah learns what he needs to compensate for and what he doesn't things will improve down there. Gibson as a starter is putting up 19.1 per game and playing defense, and when Rose gets right there is more good look chances for everyone.

Ben Gordon is the most overrated Chicago Bull of all-time. Luol Deng and Kirk Hinrich were both way better, and neither were ever spectacular.

Undersized as a SG with terrible ball-handling and tunnel vision for the basket. Shot the Bulls out of a lot of games (more than he won for the Bulls in my opinion).

The crew we have to root for this year has the potential to win a championship. The only problem is sweating out the regular season; hoping this roller coaster doesn't end with a Bulls group vacation to the hospital right before playoffs.
