How could the NFL not change their playoff structure if a 6-10 or 5-11 team is hosting a playoff game over a 10-6 team?

I am okay with a sub par division winner making the playoffs. But they should not host a playoff game. The NBA had this until they changed it after fans complaining. Division winners do not have HCA if the seed they're playing has a better record.

If a team is under .500, they should not be in the playoffs. I don't care if they win the division. Also, I agree with division winners with worse records not hosting playoff games.
