How many have they lost us the last two seasons?

The defense didn't make the Bears get in 3rd and 18 like a thousand fucking times and the defense didn't make Bennett and Marshall drop balls that hits them in the fucking hands.

And on the other hand, the offense didn't make the defense forget how to tackle or forget that Megatron is still Megatron.

The team is bad and dysfunctional, accept it and move on.

The defense is young playing with 2nd stringers playing as the 1's with a DC who has no idea how to call a game or adjust.

The offense is terrible which makes the above more exposed.

If you don't acknowledge that the defense has lost us games these last two seasons, you're dumb at football.

Teams have moved against our defense at will for two seasons

The defensive players don't respect the defensive coordinator and the offensive players hate everything about our defense. It has caused internal turmoil and has ruined another season.

It's the defense's fault. Plain and simple.

With a good defense probably.

They beat Green Bay 19-7.

Yepper, with a professional football caliber defense we would have. Unfortunately we haven't had one of those in a couple seasons.

28/32 teams in the NFL average over 17 points a game....In today's NFL, offenses needed to score 21+ to win games.

Especially an offense that takes up a majority of the salary cap.

All three phases suck. The entire team is working in harmony to lose, it's actually quite beautiful.

They are the best defense in the NFL.

The truth is that 17 points is a pathetic total that 28 teams average more than.

The defense as bad yesterday, but the offense was pathetic.

The worst possible thing about the defense is the coaches being afraid to gamble....that's telling me "they" know their players talent level is not good enough to man up or man blitz...so we are stuck playing soft " college" coverage.

Every pass play I swear there was a wide-open receiver within 2 seconds. It's almost impossible to get a sack in that short amount of time. Megatron got a 10 yard cushion and a free release all game. That's playcalling.

And the offense having 7 3rd and 18 and not staying on the field had nothing to do with a tired defense. Ya, not a great defense but can only expect so much when on the field 70% of game

It's comical people can believe such nonsense. The Bears are bad on both sides of the ball. Maybe you don't follow very closely but this team was built to win on offense. Thus, making the offensive shortcomings even more costly.

I don't know why people keep trying to blame one side of the ball or the other. It's as if certain posters have an agenda that they keep trying to push onto other people. The offense sucks and the defense sucks too. This team just sucks.
