to be fair he inherited a great team (and has some good assistants)

while i think Mark Jackson was overrated as a coach i do give him props for laying the ground work and bringing in a defensive philosophy

I don't know if Kerr is the best coach, but IQ wise, he's got to be the smartest!

How is Mark Jackson overrated as a coach. He did a good job with GS, but was fired because of a falling out with the owner. He just doesn't know when to keep his mouth shut.

ppl praise him like he was a great coach and i dont think he was

hes a good motivator and as i said did lay some ground work

but i thought golden state was pretty underwhelming on offense last season and that held them back

Yeah I feel like the Warriors underachieved with Jackson. By the sounds of it, it seems like a bunch of Warriors fans wanted him gone for a while and felt like he was holding them back. Seeing how they're playing this year with pretty much the same team, it seems as though Jackson was holding them back.

UPDATE: Cleveland is officially out of the race to beat the 72-10 mark. It is possible they can still tie.

Still 11 teams that can beat that record, including our very own Chicago Bulls.

EDIT: The Bulls, as we all know play Memphis tonight. A tough game that can kick them out of the race to beat the record. Also, San Antonio who have 9 losses have back to back games starting tonight against Portland and then at Dallas. It's possible our numbers dwindle down to 9 after tonight.
