I don't pay attention to the other sports as much so couldn't comment. I do know he's a total ass kisser though when it comes to people known in the sports community.

Brookbank is a right handed shot according to the trib blurb I read. Thats needed. Not sure how much ice time he'll see pon the 3rd pairing though. Don't know much about him.

Brookbank is a definite step in the right direction. I don't know why Klemmer is upset considering he's a guy who will help limit the shots on crawford.
He's the physical presence the Hawks have lacked the past few years on the back end and he came cheap. Quite happy with this signing. Hopefully we can add one more and get rid of Hammer while doing so.

He's more of a "dman who fights" instead of just a straight up fighter like Carkner/Scott is/was.
He'll be solid on the 3rd pairing and will drop the gloves when need be.

He's not just a fighter Maiden. Had you actually done some research instead of just talking out your ass you would see this.
He was +11 in 80 games averaging 15:36 minutes a game.
He plays physical, blocks shots, and kills penalties. He's not just a "fighter" and actually competes game in and game out.
Sorry not every signing is going to be for a superstar.
