Jay even killed their OC careers...LOL!

Pep was the only whipping boy with resilience. He seems to be doing quite nicely for himself
LOL

Yes, he is. After going back to college. And can't you make the arguement that Luck is making him look good? Just sayinnnnnn :)

Quite interesting a qb can kill a coordinators career. Wouldn't you think they'd get a pat on the back and find another job elsewhere? Like some sympathy from other coaches in dealing with coach killer jay and be offered a OC gig?

One stat that largely defines why Jay Cutler is having such a bad season

Benched and ridiculed Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has thrown 332 passes when his team has been behind, a clear indicator that he's usually in scramble mode, which can make it tough to play quarterback in the NFL.

Even more telling, 213 of those passes have come when the Bears have been behind by nine or more points.

To put that in context, here are the pass attempts from behind for the quarterbacks of some of the league's best teams, with their attempts behind by nine or more points in parentheses.

Peyton Manning -- 228 (117)
Russell Wilson -- 148 (39)
Tom Brady -- 163 (67)
Aaron Rodgers -- 164 (69)
The disparity is unreal. It's a reflection of how poorly the Bears have been on defense this season, ranking dead last in points allowed. That leads to a quarterback pressing. That's when mistakes are made. Here's another stat: When Cutler and the Bears went to the NFC Championship Game after the 2010 season, he only attempted 63 passes when trailing by nine or more points.

Cutler has 18 interceptions this season, tops in the league, but only three of those have come in the first quarter, the fewest he's thrown in any quarter. Seven of his interceptions have come on attempts 30 and above in games. That's scramble mode.

Yet as Cutler heads to the bench, replaced by Jimmy Clausen in one of the strangest moves a coaching staff has ever made, he leaves vilified by the NFL media and fans alike.

Yes, his body language is terrible at times. Yes, he makes pouty faces and seems to be bothered to be on the field. That's disturbing. That's something that has to change.

What previous Oc's jay played under here left and still were Oc's? Wouldn't you think they would've been in demand if they were actually decent? OC's?

And LOL at Trestman.

The guy was out of the league for nearly 10 damn years for a reason.

LOL

This is why I think there is a slim rather than non-existant chance that St. Louis would kick the tires on Cutler.

OMG I just read the full Prisco column. HOLY HELL.

This might be the worst film review ever.

-He actually partially blame Bennett for the first pick saying he made a "half assed" attempt at catching the ball.

-He labels Jeffery as "jogging a route" when the gif he posts clearly shows Jeffery sprinting his route then pulling up when looking back and see Forte caught the dump off and is being tackled.

To make your boil blood and type in CAPS.

Other than that. Internet clicks.

The Bears defense has had a few good games this season against inaccurate QBs that held onto the ball too long and forced throws.

I think they would have a decent shot against Cutler.

I hope Cutler goes to an NFC team.

You know a article makes sense, when the meatballs try to dissect and take the logic and reason out of it...I hope he traded to St. Louis, with that defense, the young talent on O and Jeff Fisher will hold him accountable but will also have his back (he wanted to draft him), and I'm sure the fans aren't nearly as terrible, stupid, or reactionary as Chicago's and can actually the see the whole picture and not just the easy target..Great Article.

Yes, it was a bad throw and a lazy assed attempt by bennett take the your emotion out of it and your hatred for cutler out of the equation, actually look at the play and you'll see, it was a bad throw and a lazy assed attempt by bennett, and as much as your hating ass will say, "a good QB doesn't make that throw" I say " a great TE (Gronk, Witten) doesn't run a lazy ass route, and attempt a half assed catch either. This isn't the first time Bennett has done this, this season either.

WHY IS PRISCO ALLOWED TO WRITE?

That is enough to really make you question the dudes motivation.
Jeffrey pulled the safety AND the linebacker out of the play, the slot receiver took the CB out... what else does Jeffrey have to do... Clear out the LB and S and get back in to throw blocks?

Okay.

You know Cutler has an injury history too right? Sam Bradford died every year in St. Louis.

There are plenty of offensive issues to point out- this guy just spouts bullshit.
His shot at Jeffrey is unwarranted, stupid, and wrong on every level... then he pulls up a gif of a 2nd and 12 when the saints send in 6. Of course the odds are good of a sack when you send 6.

Prisco is a damn idiot... there were plenty valid points he could have made and justified throughout the game, but those 2 plays were shit examples.
