2015 position players to date

I liked Denorfia in Full Metal Jacket, but I don't see how he really helps the team.

I'm expecting the rotation to be Lester, Arrieta, Hammel, Wood, Hendricks, Pen: MR: Grimm/Motte LH: Doubront/Wada. Back end: Ramirez/Strop/Rondon
Jackson's deal eaten. 22 mil pay off so they free up that 11 mil towards F/A's in the off season.

So looking at 2016 they would have Lester, Arrieta in Arb2. Hammel, Wood Arb3. and Hendricks. If Wood bounces back and Arrieta/Hendricks both establish themselves as legit they really do not need much. All they have to do is decide on if they want to retain or trade at that point when talent up-wells.

Depends on what they get as a TOR? If they get someone in the 26-27ish age range, that would bode well as far as balance which is what I am looking for. This window will also offer the time they need to develop their own with Edwards, Johnson, Underwood, Torrez, and whomever else they draft or have in the system.

Window small ? Getting older ?

Arrieta turns 29 in march and Lester just turned 31

You have 6/7 years with Arrieta and 4/5 with Lester before you can use/consider age as a declining factor in their game....

They'll be declining well before the end of that timeline.
