That's my new thing. I think I'm getting old. Anyone else into either (or both) of those things? I'm still learning so any seasoned advice would be appreciated.

I feel like I am the cheap shitty version of this.... I drink Jack Daniels and smoke my hookah shisha.

I've never tried Scotch but I have smoked cigars many times.

Maybe I need to try some Scotch

I've been smoking Arturo Fuentes and San Cristobals so far. Both of which I've enjoyed a bunch. I'm still working my way through my first bottle of Glenlivet. Maybe 1-2 fingers a night or so, neat. It's been a nice way to unwind.

I'm getting ready for my second bottle. Trying to find something good in a single malt that doesn't break the bank. I want to try something a little more peaty than Glenlivet 12 yo. Any suggestions? I'm thinking maybe Highland Park 12 or Laphroaig 10.

I'm a fan of Jameson, more particularly Jameson Special reserve. It's smooth and a definite upgrade to regular Jameson. Glenfiddich is pretty good also and doesn't hurt the wallet. I try to keep a bottle or two of nicer stuff for certain occasions like Lagavulin, Oban, or Balvenie. Passed one of the 4 parts of my CPA exam and two fingers of Lagavulin never tasted better.

Also getting pretty excited to buy Cuban's legally...Cuban cigar's are a great smoke.

Glenmorangie Nectar D'Or is my favorite single malt under $100.

If you haven't been to Total Wine you should check it out. Enormous selection and pretty good reviews/descriptions for everything.

Have not had, but will. I have dabbled quite a bit in the <$100 market.

One of my favorites

big fan of the Doublewood, but have yet to try the Caribbean Cask.

Every year on my birthday I just sit back with a bottle of Balvenie Doublewood and a Cohiba Siglo VI and enjoy being old.

I prefer the Caribbean Cask to the Doublewood, but the Doublewood is very good
