Player A has a good game against the Bulls...

Posters, "We could have had that guy."

I hear the Bulls could have had Klay Thompson, ya know, the guy who just scored 52. They could have also had Blake Griffin, John Wall, and Lebron James.

no we couldn't have had those guys realistically and anybody saying that is being stupid just like your post is

even if Whiteside is just having a good stretch and turns into a bum months from now

he's still young, long and athletic (7'7 wingspan)....thats worthy of a look over the likes of Nazr...who provides nothing and has no upside to provide anything

i wasn't aware of his ego problems which is guess turned them off and im not all that mad that they didn't sign him...but was pointing out we could of had him instead of telling Nazr "buy, dont rent"

The point is, if it's not Whiteside it'll be somebody else.

When will you all just learn that we need players that are not on our roster to be any good?

I don't know why people get so fed up about bench players anyways.

Replacing the 14th man on the roster is the key to a freaking championship you short sighted buffoon!

i simply made a point we could have had him over Nazr...which is true

i didn't call the front office buffoons for not signing him or anything

others made it a bigger deal than it was

others blew it out of proportion
Yes, but I don't see the huge point in retrospect. Nazr knows the team and is a veteran presence on the team. We may not know his true impact on the team off the court. A lot of these old guys have that impact no matter how terrible they are on the court. Real life NBA isn't NBA 2k.

it wasn't a huge point which is my point...the comment was more of a "you know we coulda had this guy" and not "damn you paxson for not signing this guy"

Just throw that game out of your mind. They could hit the ocean with a basketball from two feet out.

We could have had Dieng or Plumlee over Snell.

What if's don't really help. If all 30 teams drafted and signed every FA to perfection, then what? lol. Not a single team is perfect, that is part of the whole human element of risk:reward.

The other issue is, I think this FO still takes that whole unfounded loyalty argument to personal. So this is why they gave Nazr the opportunity to retire here, why Kirk is still on the team, etc. They want to keep enough of an argument to demonstrate how baseless the loyalty claims were(regardless if fans agree or disagree).

Good thing this is true or we would never have drafted MJ. LOL @ Portland.

Just throw that game out of your mind. They could hit the ocean with a basketball from two feet out.

Niko was 2 -4 from 3 and played 13 minutes.

Brooks was 4-5 from 3 and played 21 minutes.

McD was the best 3 pt shooter in college last year and played 0 minutes.

Meanwhile, Kirk was 0-2 from 3 and 1-6 from 2 and played 25 minutes.

:speechless:
