shit. Some of you guys are kinda old...For me, the superbowl loss to the colts and the loss to the vikings last year. Who kicks a 47 yarder on 2nd down?

Quiet down youngin...I still remember being disappointed by the 84 loss to the Niners.

-2007 Super Bowl loss.
-2011 NFC Championship Game
- 2013 week 17
- 2008/09 I believe week 17 vs. Houston
- 2003 vs. Philadelphia

Top 5 for me.

2010 (Jan. 2011) NFC Championship against Green Bay. No doubt about it.

The Super Bowl against the Colts was disappointing, but quite honestly I felt like we would be back or be in contention. We had a great young team in a weak NFC at the time. Then came '07, a ton of injuries in the Dallas game, and then all hell broke loose.

But nothing is worse than losing to your biggest rival, at HOME, with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line. Nothing.

In 1985 our only loss of the season, Monday night against Dan Marino and the Dolphins. That loss really ticked me off! One of things I hated about that game was Mark Duper's smack talking before and after that game. He gave no respect at all to one of the greatest defense ever. He was a prick!

1. 1986 season Divisional playoff loss to the Redskins 23-17 (Joe Gibbs, Wilbur Marshall)

'86 Bears were 14-2, at home against the Wildcard winner Redskins. The '85 Bears were the youngest team in the NFL & were supposed to be starting a dynasty...

2. 2010 season NFC Championship game loss to Packers in Chi 21-14

3. 2008 Atlanta game where Lovie Smith decided to squib kick the ball 22-20

4. 2008 final game of season -- a Win-&-In the playoffs game -- loss to Houston 31-24

While Jim McMahon was most definitely not an elite QB, that guy was so friggin important to our team back then. Our back-up's simply were not worth a shit.

You know there are redskin fans who think gibbs was one of the greatest coaches ever and beat better ditka teams by outcoaching him

I'm a bear fan, but I guarantee you Gibbs was a FAR BETTER HC than Ditka.

An underrated shitty loss was last year @ Philly. We could have clinched the playoffs and made that week 17 game meaningless. We showed up completely unprepared and got blown the fuck out 11-54. Just fucking awful. I hate Marc Trestman.

The Steve Smith game was pretty bad too. We had sacked that asshole Delhomme like 9 times when we played them in the regular season so going into it I thought it would be a cakewalk. Then Steve Smith lit some practice squad motherfucker up for 200+ yards.

2.) Getting murdered by the Patriots in the snow. 1st Bears game I ever turned off around 3rd quarter.

Paytons last game vs Redskins. Partly because I'm from Annapolis md but that's not the whole reason. It was Walter Payton.

That 2013 GB loss at the last second. We outplayed them every step of the way and still lost

1. NFC Championship loss to Packers. Hands down. As mentioned by others, at home against your most hated rival with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line.
2. Loss at the end of the 2010 regular season to the Packers that allowed them into the playoffs, and subsequently set up #1.

I think the loss this last season to the Pats was worse.

Sounds about right, but in 2003 I was in college smoking Hash and fkn bad bitches, so my life wasn't really predicated on whether football teams won or not.

Today it's a much darker existence....

In 2006 for my birthday, my daughter got us two tickets to watch the Bears play the Dolphins at soldier field. You remember that one, don't you? Fucking shithead Grossman throws a pass right to Jason Taylor. Bears lose.

This might not technically be the worst but the 88 NFC Championship game bc it was Bear weather and the Bears always win in Bear weather. *cough, cough*

I feel you, but was he wrong apparently? That shit hurts, but he (they) did win.

He overstated a bit and the Bears underestimated the Dolphins going into the game. But hey, this is football right? Shit happens.

Monday night Halloween game versus Green Bay. After that game I realized I was a fan of a losing team and I was destined to be a loser my entire life.
