Yeah, Olson, if you just breathed on him, he'd fall over.

Great hands but softest TE I ever saw...

If I am just going based on who I liked the most then it would have to be Dez Clark when his hands weren't made of granite. He was and still is a class act and personable guy.

That said, I'd take Olson as my second string TE opposite Marty. We keep wanting speed, and the guy had that - He'd be a threat in this offense just by virtue of you can't cover everyone, and he'd blow by people to get to the ball.

Iron Mike was a true TE. Bennett is a very good TE. Olson was a joke TE.
Agreed. G-Reg only outclassed Marty B in the character department, something entirely independent from the ability to play the position in the NFL.

Dez got better and better the longer he was here. Almost forgot about him but yeah, by the last few years he was one of my fav Bears.

Marty edges out Olsen based on toughness and yac but Olsen is the better route runner. Marty has proven to go full potato on the deep routes over and over again, causing interceptions.

olsen produced here as a receiver though when there was no one on the outside to help him

Yeah no doubt, Olsen gets bonus points for being a favored target when the pickins were slim.

How do you mean? Maybe you meant disrespected BY martz, in which case i agree. So was olsen who was improving at blocking when used at h back
