i mean like that he would bring some toughness and is a guy we can put there to clothes line somebody if need be

but this better not mean less minutes for Nikola

really i think we need a wing but they probably wont be able to get a good one now

My question is why does GM LeBron want him?

My only thought is retaliation for this:

Honestly I think he goes to the Clips or us because of his relationship with Doc and Thibs. Both of them love him.

But then again it's the Cavs so.... :kermit:

Crazy how I never noticed that Jimmy kicked his leg out to make sure Lebron fell flat on his ass. :lmao:

I always viewed it more of a flop by LeBron. He felt the push and then just make an extra tumble at the end to make sure the refs ejected him.

If we get Perk, then adios Taj. Which might mean hello scrub SF that we thought could be a good 3, but really isn't.

whats funny to me is when i was out to prove my point about Hinrich being trash and i was looking for rotation players with a PER as bad as Kirk Hirinch

there was only one player that was a rotational player and had as bad of a PER as Hinrich

who was it you ask? none other then Kendrick Perkins

we are gonna have 2 offensive liabilities with a 7 PER getting minutes on our team...we're so doomed

Taj was irked that he was asked to be the starter, then we sign Pau. Now bringing in Perkins could further disrupt that relationship. Just based on how the Bulls have handled the last situations like this, he'll likely be dumped for trash. We'll retain Butler, which I think we would/could anyways, and they will use the other bit of room to bring in trash to cover SF.

I'm running this scenario through my head, over and over. I just don't see enough ways to think positively about signing Perkins on the cheap, even as a guy who is pure insurance off the bench.

Taj came out quickly after the Gasol signing and said he was never told he was the starter and that it didn't bother him because winning and chemistry was more important to him.

I do think Taj is traded in the offseason as the Bulls will avoid the luxury tax regardless of what happens this season. However, Perkins isn't more than a one trick pony for the rest of the season. He won't be back next year either.
