What confuses me is that Undisputed, myself, and Parade all used different spellings of a similar word. I could definitely argue that each spelling is correct depending on the intention it was meant. That's kind of what made it funny. :dunno:

What I don't understand is how that translated into any correction of spelling towards Undisputed, and omission of any correction depending on where you are. I also don't understand why you quoted me to make whatever point you were trying to make to undisputed.

Lastly, I'm not sure why posters worry about grammar on the internet which is the World of OMG, LOL, and wysiwyg? But hey, I'm not mad at ya. :)

Is it that hard to understand.
What the hell does depending on "where you are" mean?
I understand the tit for tat between Cub and Sox fans posting on each others boards, but don't get anal about it. Look in your own backyard.

Who's getting anal? I even said I wasn't mad at you.

You quoted me for posting a peek-a-boo emote, complaining that Cubs fans were illiterate. Parade didn't call out Undisputed, he was talking to ChiSoxCity. Where? You said Cub fans would argue grammar on the Sox forum, but not the Cubs forum.

ChiSoxCity could peak Undisputed's interest. Peak meaning "the highest point, or maximum" point of interest. Parade asked ChiSoxCity if bothered him that Undisputed said it 'peaked' his interest instead of 'piqued' his interest, piqued meaning stimulate interest or curiosity.

I thought that harmless comment towards ChiSoxCity was kind of funny, so I posted an emote that said peek-a-boo, introducing a 3rd spelling, running with the harmless comment that Parade made towards ChiSoxCity, not Undisputed as I said.

Then you quoted my peek-a-boo emote, and suggested that Cubs fans point out grammar or spelling errors as long as they are not on the Cubs forum. Then you claimed to be a fan of both teams.

If you can't see why I was unsure where you were coming from, then I suggest that you quote, and take up the subject of illiteracy with some other Cubs fan next time!

Undisputed wasn't called out on jack shit. ChiCitySox was irritated, so I asked him if the irritation was because Undisputed chose an incorrect choice of pique. It was a post made in jest. The person in question, Undisputed, got it.

At least before the season starts, it looks like both teams are going to be competitive, although I think the Sox have a better shot at their division this year. It should make the Sox/Cubs forums fun this Summer. :D

Absolutely. I do think it's pretty cool too. I've always said that I'd Love to see a Chicago WS. Could you imagine what Chicago would be like? I'm not predicting that or anything, but it would start to get exciting if they both made the playoffs this year, which I think is possible.

I'd agree, the Sox probably have the better chance, but screw the Cards, I can't wait to give them a run for the money! I've got this gut feeling my Cubs are gonna shock the World this year. Call me a homer, I don't care!

This board is just lacking a steady group of regulars. You should try to get a couple good posters from those sites dude. Just send them a PM telling them about CCS. If you don't do things like that, things will never improve here.

I quit posting here because there is very little baseball talk worth a crap and when CUB fans come over here all they do is try and start crap. Things should be way more open, fewer rules, and less namby pamby sissy nonsense. When you came on board as the new Mod, 95% OF THE POSTS WERE ABOUT HOW BAD THE OLD MOD WAS AND HOW GOOD YOU WERE?

Look, I am not bagging on you. Anything but and I actually tried to get some new people here but there just isn't enough going on.
