I think they want to replace Graham's production and get a weapon for Brees. If Cooper or White is there at #7, and Pace doesn't want either one, we could trade down from #7 to #13 with NO. That's about 350 points on the trade chart and worth about a high 3rd.

If Cooper is there at 7 Pace had better want him.

If Jordan is available for a 2nd or 3rd, the Bears better jump on that.

Jordan is probably top 5 at his position and only 25 . the saints would be dumb to get rid of him, unless they are going to a 4-3.
if you could get him for a 2nd round pick, that would be a bargain.

What about

1/7

For

DE Cameron Jordan
1/31
4th

Bears get a upcoming star 5 technique that the Saints can't afford. They get a top 10 pick. That roughly values Jordan as the 20th pick in the draft.

I know it is a big jump down, but the Bears could also add picks. Jordan would be the prize.

I prefer production vs. potential, all day every day if the guy is still young.
so that would probably be as close to a fair deal as both teams could hope for.
im sure Pace knows more about Jordan than probably anybody else in the league, so I would trust his judgment on this one.
