His offensive game is sick but some are concerned about his weight and defensive motor. Sounds familiar!

1st Round:

Bulls1966Sm.gif
Bulls (Bulls have option to swap first round picks with Cavaliers, conditional if Cavaliers pick is not a lottery pick)

BULLS WOULD NOT EXERCISE SWAP OPTION BECAUSE THEIR PICK IS CURRENTLY MORE FAVORABLE THAN CAVALIERS

Traded Luol Deng, Bulls conditional option to swap 2015 first round picks with Cavaliers (if Cavaliers pick is not a lottery pick) (?-?) to Cavaliers for Andrew Bynum, first round pick (protected top 14 in 2012, top 13 in 2013, top 12 in 2014, top 10 in 2015-17, else 2017 second round pick (protected 56-60)) (?-?), Bulls conditional option to swap 2015 first round picks with Cavaliers (if Cavaliers pick is not a lottery pick) (?-?), 2015 second round pick (?-?), 2016 second round pick (?-?) on 2014-01-06

Bulls1966Sm.gif
Bulls (protected top 10)

PICK WOULD DEFER TO 2016 BECAUSE KINGS PICK IS CURRENTLY IN TOP 10

2nd Round:

Nuggets2008Sm.gif
Nuggets (less favorable of Blazers, Bulls picks)

PICK WOULD NOT TRANSFER BECAUSE BLAZERS PICK IS CURRENTLY LESS FAVORABLE THAN BULLS

Traded Anthony Randolph, rights to Doug McDermott to Bulls for rights to Jusuf Nurkic, rights to Gary Harris, 2015 second round pick (less favorable of Blazers, Bulls picks) (?-?) on 2014-06-26

Cavaliers2010Sm.gif
Cavaliers

PICK WOULD NOT TRANSFER BECAUSE BLAZERS PICK IS CURRENTLY LESS FAVORABLE THAN BULLS

Traded 2015 first round pick (protected top 18 in 2015, top 15 in 2016-17, else 2018 second round pick and 2019 second round pick) (?-?), first round pick in first draft 2 years after Grizzlies send first round pick to Timberwolves via Rockets (protected #1-5, #15-30 in 2015-16, top 5 in 2017-18, unprotected in 2019) (?-?) to Nuggets for Timofey Mozgov, 2015 second round pick (less favorable of Blazers, Bulls picks) (?-?) on 2015-01-07

Magic2010Sm.gif
Magic (more favorable of Blazers, Bulls picks)

PICK WOULD TRANSFER BECAUSE BULLS PICK IS CURRENTLY MORE FAVORABLE THAN BLAZERS

Traded rights to Milovan Rakovic to Bulls for Anthony Randolph, 2015 second round pick (more favorable of Bulls, Nuggets picks) (?-?), 2016 second round pick (more favorable of Blazers, Bulls picks) (?-?), cash on 2014-07-14

He's a better rebounder than Curry. Yeah he does suck at free throws and defense but he's as close to a sure thing on offense as there is. Still going top 2.

Towns is the better prospect

Okafors post game is nice but in my opinion banging in the post is outdated these days and hes not a very good defender, jumpshooter, nor rebounder....plus lacks athleticism

Towns is your prototypical center these day...rebounds, blocks, and can step out and hit a jumper

The question is can Towns be a #1 option;can he carry an offense night in and night out. He's surrounded by a boat load of talent and isn't the top option. He's going to go to a team that sucks and doesn't have the same level of talent. Not saying I disagree because he does have a much higher upside, I just question if he can be the top dog every night.

Okafor's team as talent, albeit not as much as Kentucky, and he's the best player night in and night out. He's basically unstoppable one and one and has proven he can carry an offense.

neither one is a franchise player/#1 option imo

Okafor will be the equivalent of Al Jefferson. Big man with a post game and he will develop a nice little mid range game with time. Probably will average 16-20 PPG and around 10 RPG. I think his off-field intangibles are a little better and I think he wants it more. I think he will grow into a nice #2 scoring option on a playoff/contending team. Not a guy who will lead you to a title but will be a key part of your team.

If only they can raise the college limit to 2 years so players can get a little bit more development. :p

Are you guys for it or against it?

I've always been for it. But I understand the legal reasons for being against it. But the NFL gets away with it, so why cant' the NBA?

It will take a stipend for players to agree with it.

It would help the college game as well as the NBA imo.
