Mod goggles aside, there are only a handful of distinct regional varieties of BBQ in the US. NC is one of them, and one of my favorites. I think it's unfair to categorize this conversation as some sort of bait.

Actually, probably the only decent conversation I have had with BB involved talking about NC BBQ...so even though I don't see eye to eye with him on 90% of the topics discussed on this forum, the topic of NC BBQ is the one topic I would like him to participate in.
