Updated first post to add some pizzaz. Will be adding starting lineups when announced. Also, will post nudes of Castro, Rizzo and Soler when available.

The day is finally upon us. Who's ready to shock the NL Central? Doing anything special this evening?

Cubs win 24-0.

Everyone in the lineup goes yard and Lester pitches 9 innings of 1 hit ball.

You're underestimating how many home runs we'll get in the first few innings :smug:

3-1 Cards. Wainwright not exactly sharp. Cubs get dozens of chances/runners on and fail to get them from 2nd to home. Lester decent start. 6 IP, 2 ER. Gives up a weak 2 run HR early.

Kris Bryant decision talks spurn more fire when some dipshit ESPN announcer asks when the cubs strand bases loaded with 1 out if Bryant could have gotten them home, twice.

Mike Olt starts the year right with a golden sombrero. Rizzo with 3 doubles, and fuck it--Castro takes a walk.

And so begins this baseball season in The Year of The Goat.

Spoiler alert: The goat dies!!

I predict Waino gets knocked out, the Cubs win, and we miss it all because ESPN preempts the game for a special report about Tiger playing in the year's Masters.

I will be cooking a whole lot of ribs, having a few cold ones, and waiting for Mr. Soler to christen that Jumbotron!

I would guess they are going for small ball tonight. The air isn't Arizona and probably value a more contact and defense type

The lineup is not much different then I expected. Coughlan would be my only one but I would think of monte to starts. He will get that spot. I thought they would keep castro at 4

I am disappointed that LaStella starts over Alcantara. But I expected it.

I worried when we got the guy that he would be on the field, when I would much rather see Mendy or Javy. But it was expected.

We needed his OBP and he's in the 9th spot.

But I will trust Joe and stop worrying about it.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Illinois Fighting Illini
Soler is the best hitter. That's why he is in the two hole. When Lastella bats, that now makes him the 3 hitter. Simple. All hail Soler Power.
