I'm just looking for a solid bat to drop into the middle of the Cub's lineup. If this kid isn't the real deal....I'll never trust my assessment of young players again.

Soler, Rizzo and Bryant in the order will look really nice for years to come.

Castro hitting will help. Hopefully Coghlan and Fowler can get on base at a good clip. And I truly believe Alcantara adds something to the lineup, even when his average isn't where it should eventually be. This is not including anything from Javy.

The offense has struggled early on, but this "big three" could really be special.

It's the opposite of "He gone." In the grand scheme of Chicago sports it doesn't seem that bad. Obviously YMMV.

Several posts in this thread mentioning Russell, too. I do wonder with what we've seen already this year, if he rakes in Iowa, do they bring him up this year? The thought really fascinates me.
