Can someone please explain how a 340 pound NT with 9.5 sacks and 93 tackles is only a two down player? Makes loads of sense to me

because some people subscribe to the Al Davis method of player evaluation.
he bombed his 40, so there is no way he can be a great NT.

Not that I think he is a 2 down guy.

But half his sacks came against total bums in Hawaii and Eastern Washington.

He did however collapse the pocket on a consistent basis and helped Kikaha and Hudson to also reach double digit sacks. Any NT with his type of production in the PAC-12 is a 3-down player.

Dante Fowler did to a degree.

What the testing proved is that Shelton is not a Dontari Poe physical freak, which does not mean he is not a talented player, but it does mean he is not a top 10 pick.

Eastern Washington is actually one of the best FCS teams. I think they lost at The Wahington 59-52.

Breshad Perriman - Bogus

Leonard Williams - Happy. The Bears fill a need AND get the guy considered to be the best player in the draft.

Vic Beasley - Happy. The Bears fill a need and he was ranked as first round pick for 2014 but chose to stay in school.

Danny Shelton - Bogus. Fills a need but nah.

Brandon Scherff - Happy. Fills a need and he can play tackle or guard. Best offensive lineman in the draft. He'd be my next choice after Amari Cooper with all of the defensive players the Bears signed during free agency.

  1. Vegas Golden Knights

Who will have the better career, Jadeveon Clowney or Leonard Williams?

Jadeveon Clowney once reminded me of a young Julius Peppers, but now he reminds of Samuel Jackson's portrayal of Mr. Glass.
