So 14 for 78 combined. .179 BA... Ya that is getting it done.

We can make complaints about the pitcher hitting this or running 3 catchers but in reality the biggest problem has been LF.

The hope of course is that Russell won't be in that 9 hole for long and may end up at at 5 or 7. As far as LF goes if this team is going to be a contender past July they will need one more bat and a pitcher. With a decision still to be made on Schwarber as far as where he plays going forward I don't see them finding a long term solution in LF this year. I'm not sure a rental is out of the question though and they might need to do that. I'm not as concerned with Coghlan's BA so much as I am with his OBP of .304. that's not going to get it done.
