Not surprised. Josh needs that support going on to keep clean.

He trashed their fans on the way out. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me

For that deal.. I wish the cubs would've gotten him but yea theo probably didn't want any negative influence on the kids in locker room..

Not really that interested personally. He's about to turn 34. He has the obvious drug issues. The past two seasons in LA he's hit .255/.316/.426 with 21 homers in 1017 PAs. As a reference, Cogs has hit .279/.348/.459 with 12 HRs in 487 PAs and is only 30. In order for Hamilton to be worth you're time you have to bank on him being what he was in the past and I just don't see it.

Yeah, I would have wanted no part of him. The saddest part to me is that the people close to him that have actually commented feel that he shouldn't playing at all and should worry about his life, not the game. My wife, in recovery for 23 years, agrees. Just a sad story really.

Jimmy Edmonds worked out well, but we dont need Hamilton. He needs to be in a place where he is comfortable and the Rangers are a good fit again.
