Just for shits and giggles, did you guys see Todd McShay's 2016 mock draft?

Using Football Outsider's projected records, he's got the Bears picking 12th (7-9) and picking safety Jalen Ramsey.

Wouldn't hate it, but clearly TODD TODD TODD didn't get the memo that the Bears are taking a QB in 2016. That's the year!!

He's got 4 QBs gone before the Bears pick---Hackenberg at #1 (Redskins), Cook at #2 (Browns), Cardale Jones at #7 (Jets) and Jared Goff at #9 (Cardinals).

I have a feeling patience is gonna be the key word for Pace's tenure. I think we'll be seeing more of Cutler than most think. I think Pace will be content to sit and build the team by taking the best talent he can find without freaking out about getting a QB, which will drive some insane. But we do have a QB, granted he has his faults, but why draft the Christian Ponders and Brandon Weedens of the world while passing up talent. I think he'll make a move to take a QB he likes, but it'll be a guy he likes, not just a QB. It makes sense really, it's how you build a team that is a perennial contender, but it just may take some patience.

I heard Craven Moorehead and Hugh Jass will be graduating in 2021, both are good prospects.

settle down Toast....we aint taking a Round 1 QB next year....Cutler is going to the Pro Bowl this year and will be around for the next 2-4 years still.

Pace will draft a Hometown Jimmy or Grayson type QB in round 2 or 3 to develop as his eventual successor.
