Mods can we get a sticky?

Lottery is tonight.Wow I can't believe it's time for this kind of stuff already...
http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Christian-Wood-7182/NBA Mockdraft.net has us taking Christian Wood from UNLV
Don't know much about him. Will have to dive into it.
A lot of what you described sounds the exact opposite of Tyrus. Tyrus was a springy defender with no offensive game. Wood seems to be a springy guy with a solid offensive game and very little in the way of defense.http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Christian-Wood-7182/
Based on that he seems much like Tyrus Thomas, but without as much potential. Freak athlete, but super thin. Questionable shot selection, but shows an ability to shoot pretty well. Has 3pt range. Shot blocker, but lacks discipline on defense. Not really all that physical of a player due to lack of strength. Only 19 though.
Cliff Alexander, or gtfo
Defensive weakness includes understanding the nuances of the pick and roll. Uh oh....http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Christian-Wood-7182/

I was more going for the goof, but yeah, he has the makings of a second rounder right now. Like most prospects who go through what he did, it seems to be more of a 'right fit' type place for Cliff. I don't remember seeing a lot of his game at Kansas, but I saw him a handful of times in high school and he was just dominate. He's a REALLY interesting case. So-so year of college and has gone from a Top 10 pick in October to now a guy I've seen falling all the way to the 2nd round in most/many mocks

Look at the weight gain and loss in two years. I'd be interested in hearing the reasoning behind both.http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Cliff-Alexander-7138/
Seems like the opposite of Wood lol. Super physical, somewhat undersized, not much of a jumper. Still pretty raw, but has athleticism and length to make up for lack of height.
Bah...sped past the details of his defensive deficiencies. I just ended up thinking of a lanky shot blocker who shot jumpers all the time which is what Tyrus Thomas became. Either way, doesn't seem that appealing.A lot of what you described sounds the exact opposite of Tyrus. Tyrus was a springy defender with no offensive game. Oh god. That would be awful.I'm seeing a lot of Sam Dekker looking at a few mocks. This upsets me greatly.
Has anyone read this: http://www.blogabull.com/2015/5/18/...draft-successfully-the-loss-of-matt-lloyd-and
This makes it sounds like with Forman we'll only draft players from Iowa or New Mexico.
